Feeding LPS from grocery store

Has anyone ever tried shrimp or clamps or such from the grocery store to feed LPS? I was told they like big meaty stuff but am scared to try it on expensive torches like my dragon soul. I've always just fed coral frenzy to my corals... They seem to like it so i'm nervous to try this.

Meaty yes, large no.. just use something like LRS and mix in a little reef roids or similar.
