I just bought my two clownfish yesterday and I let them acclimate and then made sure my light wouldn't go off at night so they had more than 12 hours to swim around before they start getting use to the light cycle. I've read that people do have problems getting their clowns to start eating and I am looking for solutions. My LFS recommended I use New Life Spectrum pellets and I waited a few hours and dropped a 3 pellets in to see if they would accept them and they chased them and did the spit out chew spit out chew thing. When I woke up to feed them in the morning though and I dropped 3 pellets in they didn't even notice. Seriously anything you guys have to offer ill try

Pellets take a little while to get used to, but I'd be willing to bet that the ones you used were too large. Try the Small Fish formula.

It they are interested in pellets your pretty good. Agree smaller food.
Mysis or other frozen natural fish fool will likely be a hit. flakes or small pellets may work. I have had luck with new era small pellets. They are more moist and softer for little mouths to bite.
