I feed dred algea sheets for my tomini tang. I have two little fishes green and omega red. Do you make sure there is always some in the tank to feed on or is it an every other day kind of thing?

I feed nori almost every other day. I want my tangs picking at rocks to keep growing algae at bay. Can’t spoil them to much now!!

^^+1^^ Exactly. I feed nori about every 2 or three days.

I suppose you could, but why?

I do every other day. Rub some garlic extract on it also

Could use that I suppose. Some times I use selcon to soak nori. But I mainly do this while fish are in QT!

Depends,
If the tangs are established in the tank, healthy, no pinched bellies, hlle etc etc, a few times a week/every other day is okay if they have adequate rockwork/room to graze.

If its a new addition, or is a baby /juvie, Id recommend everyday, and even twice a day in cases example- the half dollar size hippos you commonly see for sale should ideally always have nori offered to them.

I wouldn't recommend soaking foods like nori in garlic regularly long term, as it can possibly lead to renal function impairment in some fish.
If it is used as a enticement agent for a picky eater short term is no problem and useful.

Long term, Selcon is my go to nori "soak" but ideally food soaks/vitamins would be used with pellet foods.

Just my .02

Omega one already has vitamins and minerals added. I use 1/3 sheet of omega one a day for my three juvinile tangs as well as mixed frozen food and pellets every day for all my fish. Frozen gets soaked in selcon daily and garlic a few times a week.

I feed nori every day. A piece about the size of my palm. Its mostly for the angel and foxface. I like to keep my tang on rock duty

When I got my tomini tang I noticed small areas of what I believe could be hlle so I’m trying to get his diet on track. Someone recommended amino mega. I’ll upload picture. If you zoom in you can see it.
