When feeding/supplementing phytoplankton and zooplankton, is just dosing the whole tank effective? Or should I be targeting certain corals?

You can apply both techniques. Most people simply do a broadcast feeding and then put the tank on feed mode. What animals do you have that you want to feed zooplankton or phytoplankton to?

I thought some of my corals (like the ricordea floridas) might benefit from it?
Ricordea, zooanthids, etc. do really well on our zooplankton products like Roti-Feast (rotifers), Arcti-Pods (copepod) and R.O.E. (fish eggs). I would definitely target feed them the zooplankton feeds and then do a dispersion feed with our Oyster-Feast. Oyster-Feast is our best all around product for the vast majority of inverts in a reef tank, and really elicits a very strong feeding response because of the lipids and amino acids.
