Feeding Pin Cushion urchin.

I got a free pin cushion urchin in with my live rock order. The tank is stable but there is not going to be enough algae for him for a bit. How does one go about feeding them nori? Just sit them on it, offer them bits?

He has been in the tank for 5 days now and is doing fine, moving all over, carrying rocks. I did give him some ground up marine pellets via turkey baster. Was also considering spinach.

Rubber band some to a small flat rock. It'll find it in short order (especially if you place the rock close by).

I had one hitchhike into my office nano (13 gal) two years ago and I've never fed it anything.

It just finds stuff and keeps getting bigger.
It shares with a couple of clowns and a couple of snails.
