Ive got a royal gramma and a gold stripe maroon clown in my 40b. The GSM is very active, but does tend to stay in a rock area he appears to be hosting. The royal gramma has his own little cave he spends much of his time in but even he ventures out, even into the same area as the GSM with zero aggression.

Background out of the way, I started feeding Rogger's Reef Food Complete and Complete Plus from day 1. The royal gramma was first in the tank and had no problems devouring the food once I removed it from the mesh bag. The GSM I kept in a social acclimation box for 2 days to avoid any potential aggression from the gramma. During this time I just dropped little bits of the food and he inhaled it. So, clearly they do not have any issues with Chef Marine's abilities, but I cannot get them to feed from the mesh bag.

It isnt the end of the world as they do eat once the food hits an mp10 and flies all over the tank, and I guess this benefits some of my corals...but Id prefer a more social (and cleaner) feeding and less food storms lol.

Any ideas? or am I just going to have to keep presenting the food in the bag until they "get it"? Maybe spot feed them with tongs?

Thanks!
