I have a very young tank. 30 gallons, 1 clown, 3 small coral frags. I've heard to be frugal when feeding so you don't fuel an algae outbreak or some other unwanted outbreak. But I'm wondering should I overfeed a little bit so that my corals can get some food? I haven't purchased anything to target feed my coral with yet.

With only three Frag, the poop from the clown and the remnants from your feeding should be enough. I would certainly not reduce feedings to prevent algae, but instead focus on nutrient export. If your clown gets sick from not getting enough nutrition, it can die.
