Has anyone ( people who live near an ocean ) utilize fresh spearing and other baitfish as food for their tanks and had problems? I live on the Atlantic and we seine net loads of spearing and other small fish for bait. Here is a pic of a spearing...

If you freeze it, that should kill anything harmful.

I clicked the thread thinking you meant deli local, and although I have used it, would not recommend since you really have no way of knowing what if any preservatives they might have used.
