Feeding roasted seaweed?

So I have heard of feeding nori too fish. I had never seen it before. I just wondered if this was acceptable for feeding tangs?

That's what I fed my sea hare when algae was gone

So long as it's pure nori, no seasonings etc. roasted is fine.
