Feeding Rotifers and pods

I have been culturing rotifers and pods lately and wondering how most people feed these to their reefs. Do you try to strain the animals out of the culture water by using a coffee filter or just dump in the culture water replacing with more green water in the culture container?

i would definitely filter the cultures either in a coffee filter or a baby brine shrimp net. I would also rinse the pods with tank water before introducing them to the tank. My understanding is you want to avoid getting the culture water in the reef.
