What does everyone feed their scoly's? I haven't really seen mine with its feeding tentacles out. He seems happy and fat. I feed the tank reef chili, oyster feast, and mysis. Is he just eating enough to not bring out the tentacles?

Mysis, garlic, reefroids. All combined. Turn off all flow. Squirt some ontop, in about 5-10 min, watch the magic happen. You'll probably need to give it food when it opens cause all your other creatures will get the first squirt. The first time you watch a scoly eat, you'll want more scoly. Also mine open when probably less then 5% light

Fauna Marin LPS Color and Grow pellets. Mine only extends its feeder tentacles during lights out and that's when I feed it.

Now that you say that, josh fed the frag tank with some kind of pellets that had all the corals happy even with the lights on. Maybe that was it. I'll have to check them out. Anyone local sell them?

They're not sold locally nor are they cheap. Premium Aquatics and eBay are where I've found them.

Here's my scoly chowing down on some Fauna Marin pellets.
