Hello all
i hoping someone can help me out in making feeding a bit easier/quicker. any suggestions welcomed!
I work long hours day & night so im finding feeding the fish an effort. its getting done, either by me or the wife, but i want to make things a bit easier / consistant. whats your feeding routine?
a couple of things, please bare with me.
can you / do you auto feed flakes?
i made the mistake of feeding my fish frozen food for the 1st 6 months as i though it was better for them all of them love frozen food which is making feeding the flakes or pellets difficult. All my fish apart from the cardinals eat flakes, and only fox face and clowns eat pellets.
i'm trying with the help from another post to get them onto pellets.... which is ongoing.. maybe fakes would be easier?
Can you rinse and re-freeze frozen food?
like i said previously, time is limited at the moment and i got a bit lazy and stopped rinsing the frozen food, i just put a couple of mixed cubes into a beeker with tank water, let it thaw and use that. my solution would be to get a load of frozen food say a months worth, defrost it, rinse it with rodi water and re-freeze it. is this ok? or like human food, its not good to re-freeze it?
would love to hear your feeding routine especially if its a bit different, or good links to making my own food? suggestios please..
thanks!
