I have a couple of new tangs that will not eat anything (Yellow and Naso). They were shipped via mail and am wanting to get them to eat something. They have not eaten since arriving.

Does anyone have a magical solution to kick start their eating?

1) How long has it been since they arrived? They can go several days without food if they were healthy.
2) What are you trying to feed them?

I'd offer flake food (it's like junk food to fish) or nori. I take small squares of nori and put it in a 3" wide clip. Then cut it into strips down to the clip and then hang it in the tank.

I have tried Nori on clips, dry pellets, frozen brine and marine cuisine. And tried adding silicon.

Today will was a be day 4 without eating.

Try rubbing the nori underwater so it breaks into little pieces. And Larry’s or flakes like he said..., lol

Live black worms or live brine shrimp should get them started. They may need a few feedings before they try it. Once they eat that start mixing the live food with other foods.
