Hey everyone so just a question my fish are eating but they just are not as excited for food. Like my brothers fish tank once you put the food in they are all there rushing. With my tank once I put the food in they just do their thing and once it goes by them they start to go at it. Wondering if this is normal or something to worry about. I have 2 tangs a porcupine puffer, dottyback and a damsel no sings of ich or any diseases.

Try a sheet of nori - you can buy "untoasted" or "raw" nori from your supermarket. Maybe your fish would appreciate a half sheet on a clip? Your tangs in particular need a plant based diet - it's possible that they're just not as interested in the mysis and brine.

Brine really has no nutritional value for them. I would try some Rod's food, a favorite of my fish, or some other food with more nutrition. Even some pellets, maybe New Life Spectrum. And of course you should be feeding Nori daily.
Sorry for the delay.

It’s good their eating but they should show more response to the intro of food. Are they new, maybe they are still getting use to the home.

Like said above, Nori and LRS is good. I feed my tangs Nori with vitamins soaked into it. Give them a variety, meaty food for sure. Tangs will eat meaty along with damsels and puffers. Don’t be afraid to try a few different until you find one they like. Live food is also good, but research that first before trying that.

If they are newer they should get into a routine. Soon they will bug you for food every time u walk by
