Feeding too much?

I think by feeding too much, you could create extra phosphates and nitrates in your tank, which would cause a problem. I don't target feed my SPS anything, and they grow great and have a wonderful color. The need Calcium and Magnesium to grow pretty good, and then you can try the other elements to tweak color.

well, i lost all my fish to ich, so i no longer have to feed anything to my fish. so i just pore in cyclo, & phytophease once or twice a day

I agree with all the above.
Feeding to much can cause phosphate and nitrates to rise. Which in turn is a bad thing.

And feeding once a day at night is best as the natural feeding cycle of most corals is at night.

I only feed my fish/corals 3 times a week.
I dont really target feed anything and I just mix it all up with the fish food.....the coral get it eventually.
