Hey, I am new to R2R and i have had a 29 gallon reef tank up and running for at a month and a half. Yesterday i fed my fish and some of the food got caught in the tentacles of my trumpet coral. It ate the food but then a few minutes later the head of the coral doubled in size. Later it shrank back to normal size again. What does this mean?

It was hungry. I feed my trumpetsand candy canes along with the anemone, bubbles, torch, hammer, and Duncan. It ingested and digested the food. I usually feed mine once or twice a week depending on size.

do you feed your frogspawn? i have tried to feed mine but I can't tell if it is eating?

Most euphillya corals are capable of eating but rather get everything they need photosynthetically
