I got a ton of wild live clams from eastern NC the other day. Most have been eaten by my family, but I froze a few, thinking I could feeding them to fish. I read Paul B's thread about them, but my concern is it dangerous to do it because of possible disease spread?

If you fully froze them any bacteria should be dead.

Anything frozen is safe, the freezing will kill any pathogens, however the whole food aspect is great for the fishes immune system.

When I make my clam food, I prefer freezing them. Makes shucking and chopping up so much easier. The adductor muscle completely released when the little guy is frozen.
