Feeding with Frozen Food

Depending on the cardinal size 1 cube should be enough. If they are bigger with the clowns maybe 2. Both guys like meaty food. Spirulina brine, PE mysis. If you can get blackworms it’s like a treat. The clowns could use some veggies time to time.

I have 2 big cardinals that will eat 1 cube themselves. I also freeze clams and give them black worms. As everybody mentioned you can thaw. Sticking the block in is ok too.

Turn off the pumps, poor (edit, just saw poor, haaaa) a little in at a time of the thawed or squirt near them if the are picky. Wait for them to finish, add more. Once they are full they will stop going after it. Kinda like a vegas buffet.

I keep the little solo cups that ketchup from take-out comes in and those used for samples in grocery stores.
I add a little RO and portion of frozen and let thaw. I then spoon feed until all gone

Pretty much this. One cube lasts me 2-3 days.

+2 -- I have quite a few fish but I follow the same process. I thaw in water and feed a little at a time. Sometimes they eat it all and other times I put the leftovers in the fridge and use it the next day.

I use frozen LRS & Rod's reef . I'll cut off a couple of days worth . Then I add algae flake, fish roe, maybe krill, a shot of Vita chem. I try to feed a small amount 2 or 3 times a day . The amount depends on how many fish I have.
I still don't know if it's too much or not enough . The mix will last in the fridge for a few days . The sniff test will tell Ya if it needs to be tossed & then I make another batch . I'm careful to wash out what ever container I use every time with detergent rinse well before I refill .

I have two marine goldfish er.. I mean clowns and three PJ cardinals plus a small cuc.

I also have a 45 gallon cube. But I have a lot more fish than you. I feed a cube of frozen to my 12 fish. But I also have a clean up crew of probably 20 crab and 20 snails or More of each. I’ve been doing this for the last five years with no issues with nitrates or anything.
I take a small bowl put the cube in it soak in selcon for a bit then fill it with tank water so it will fall about then use a turkey baster
To distribute it throughout the tank.

I feed 2 cubes per day. Nori every 3 days. Use filter socks daily. No issues.

In my 60 gallon I feed half a cube + vita chem to my 2 clowns, tomini tang and 3 yellow tail damsels. I do another light feeding of NLS pellets before they bed down for lights out and then I do part of a sheet of nori couple times a week for the tang. I rotate PE Mysid, Larry’s, and Omega One Super Carnivore which has whole bloodworms and meaty chunks. I like to use it when I’m feeding the nem, acans, lobo and trachy. I’m a reforming over-feeder and believe me they can trick you into turning your tank into a cesspool if you’re not careful - I try not to make eye contact with them when I’m feeding them .

I break some of my LRS into chunks and store in freezer in another bag. Throw a chunk in a glass jelly jar with selcon and fish roe and plankton feast and let thaw in fridge. Usually only keep it for 2-3 days, rinse repeat.
