Feeding Yellow Watchman Goby in QT

I have a tiny (~1") yellow watchman goby from ORA currently in quarantine. It seems perfectly content to hang out between the bioballs in the corner of the tank. What worries me is that I don't see it eat. The other two fish are always out and about and eat plenty. I've tried dropping food back where it is, tried using a pipette to squirt some in front of it and over feeding to get some to float in that area just based on volume. I see it picking at things every now and again, but I haven't actually observed it eating. It's been in QT for 9 days, so I'm assuming it must have eaten something or it would be dead by now, no?

Any tips on what or how to feed this critter? I rotate between spirolina brine shrimp, mysis shrimp and live black worms.

Yep. Best to let them melt by themselves. If you add water it kinda thins it out too much. Sometimes I just put a drop of Selcon, etc. on top.

My LFS didn’t have cyclopeeze or fish eggs in stock. He said the supplier was out when he went to reorder. Anyhow... I got phytoplankton instead. Fish all seem to like it, including the YWG.

Ah, I forgot to mention my goby & blenny like Formula 2 from Petco. It's largely for herbivores but is loaded with good stuff.

I have formula 2 pellets. Comes frozen too?

Yeah, they advise you to drop the cube or partial cube directly into the water frozen.

Huh. That wouldn’t work for this guy then. Definitely stays out of the water column.

I thaw it. It's kinda thick, chunky, greenish. I put it into the water and the larger glops settle on the bottom where my blenny and goby much on it.
