When is the best time to feed lps corals. Night time or daytime? Using liquid food.

I always like to feed after lights out. However, my lps likes meaty foods. Sometimes I do add some liquid food first so corals open up more and are more ready to eat. This is when I want to feed the other corals at the same time.

I feed at night. If you really want your lps to grow fast and healthy go to your grocery store (Walmart for me ) and get a bag of frozen uncooked shrimp one of the cheapo bags like $5 i think cut it up and feed your lps that and they will grow like mad i use to use mysis brine etc and saw decent growth and coloration but once i started to use the shrimp i had a 1 acan head frag turn into about 9 heads within a months time as well as my frogspawn and torch i have they love it the best part about it one bag will last you about 6-9 mths unlike mysis

So glad to hear what you feed your frogspawn. I just bought one and was feeding it ms. Now I'll try some raw shrimp. Thanks for the info. :israel:

I dose during the day. Understood that at night their looking for particulates but even when I dose during the day they know its feeding time and the mouths open up for din din.
