How often are you guys feeding your tank or tanks,REEF,how often should they be fed im into reef about a year now and not having problems but i am feeding once a day and nitrates go up and down nothing real bad but id like to keep them down,I have alot of SPS and LPS no softies, fish i have are yellow tang, yellow eye kole, sailfin tang, blue spot goby,2 huge engineer gobies, zebra goby, scissor tail goby,i know i like my gobies, I also have 1 large clarkie clown, a true perc, fairy wrasse, royal gramma,3 green chromis.I dont think this is a fish over load in a 180g RR have plenty of snails and crabs also.so what do you suggest?thx RJ

I've always fed the fish a little twice a day. I feed LPS once or twice a week by spot feeding so there's little waste. SPS I've had luck feeding every day but that's probably overkill.

I feed my fish a good amount of food twice a day and I feed the corals right before the lights go out every night.

My fish are lucky to get fed once a day. Most of the time its every other but still fat and happy:)

I feed my fish every 1-2 days and spot feed my LPS 2-4 times a week. When I feed the LPS I use about 3-4 cubes of frozen shrimp in my 55. I have a fuge and an oversized skimmer (Octo Extreme 160) and haven't had a problem with my nitrates. I do wash the food off with tankwater to try to help with phosphates...
