Feeding

Hello y’all currently feeding my chromis flakes in morning and at night very small pinches and In the middle of the day I drop a cube of mysis shrimp. Every time I feed them at night they jump to the top eating the food quickly. Are they being underfed?

No probably not if you are feeding multiple times a day! I find it’s probably due to excitement/habit of being fed it happens with my clownfish. In the wild many fish either have multiple small meals a day or only eat when food is available which means many fast for prolonged periods.

I feed flakes in the morning and around noon sometimes I walk near the glass my clown gets all crazy because he thinks he is getting fed I feed mys. For last feed. I’m a heavy feeder ‍(small feedings) just have to hold back when you see fish acting crazy for food more harm then good imo
