I’ve always operated under the assumption that the ocean currents slow down at night & wanted to mimic that in my tank & let everything rest a little easier. Problem is.. I have cheap jebao powerheads & no equipment or mods that allow me to reduce power on a schedule. But, I can turn power off.

I have two powerheads & return pump running 24/7.. should I turn one or two off at night?

Personally, I would keep them on at night. Oxygen becomes more limited at night at flow helps to bring this to everything in the night. Feeding is also big at night time and flow helps to bring food to the corals.
