With all the problems and setbacks everyone experiences, and I'm sure are still to come for me, I'm taking advise I've heard on here often and am enjoying a small victory

Just came out of the diatom phase and have had the fuge humming along for almost two weeks. Just as I was starting to see GHA, the Chaeto has bulked up and driven my Nitrate down to 2-3 and phosphate to .02. I pulled my turbos out of the sump and they rampaged over the rocks and crushed the GHA!

Ofc, I'll have to dial back my export a touch, but the onset of GHA seems like as good a time as any to flatline on nutrients! Feelin so good today :)

I just finished cleaning up a few gallons water off the floor because my skimmer overflowed (user error). I was in the process of something , got a phone call, distracted, an hour later I stepped in water lol.

However! I'm overlooking that because of my small victory , I've held back or put at bay my Cyano. At least it's gone to the naked eye. I did some small dosing of Chemiclean and after 3 days, all the annoying algae's are gone, just clean sand, clean rocks and puffy corals.
