Interested to hear as well. LFS has a used one for $100, but the reviews on BRS say the sensors die quickly on them So I’m hesitant to pull the trigger
The new versions have the improved V2 optical sensors that are supposedly less prone to failure. I have a gen 1 DDR with the V1 optical sensors and it conveniently failed just after warranty where Fusion no longer read my DDR levels and the tile completely disappeared from my dashboard. I found an eBay seller who sold a replacement optical sensor / wiring kit and I’ve had no problems since.
The 1/4” John Guest style quick connect fittings are a poor fit with the standard flexible DOS tubing leading to air leak issues. I solved that by replacing the compression fittings on the DOS pump heads with John Guest quick connect fittings so I could use standard 1/4” OD RO tubing.
