Felicia's 40B Mixed-Reef Predator Tank

Nice! I love, not only the coral, but the species selection is fantastic! I do have a little 20G, but am looking forward to creating my own masterpiece after my future move and your tank is a real inspiration to a newbie like myself. I mean, it's really opened my eyes to a new love for lionfish! Time to do some research :)
Thank you! Glad I could give you some ideas for your next build. Lionfish are amazing fish and I definitely think they're underrated, especially in reef tanks. Definitely do your research on them, and of course feel free to ask me any questions!

For anyone who doesn't get the Marine Depot Newsletter....

Marine Depot made a featured video of my tank that was in their newsletter today! Here's the email that went out:

Link to the online version of the email.

Here's the link to my feature tank on their website with more information about the tank.

And then here's the video they put together from clips that I provided them. I think they did a great job!

Ok, so I had a ton of photos that I took with the video clips for the Marine Depot video and a bunch of them didn't get used, so I figured its time to share some of those!

I also took some photos of the sump and equipment. A few of these got used in the video, but I wanted to share them again since I don't photograph the sump often. Its dirty, but oh well! I wanted people to be able to see how my system is set up.

Hey @FeliciaLynn how is the tank doing!?
Hi! Its doing wonderful! Mostly running on autopilot at the moment because I've been super busy. The last couple weeks I was finishing up my dissertation and then I had family in town for my graduation. I am now officially Dr. Felicia :) I just finished my PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Berkeley. This week I'm still pretty busy doing some trainings on the instrument I was in charge of and organizing all my data and supplies so that I can leave my lab at the end of this week. Then I get a month vacation before I start my job :)

I was already planning to do a water change on the tank tonight, so I'll try to do a big photoshoot tomorrow evening and get up lots of new photos to share.
