Hi All,

I just purchased three good size Anthias and I netted my clown fish and put it in a breeders box. I did this because last time my clown fish was really aggressive and killed two new fish in my tank. these anthias that I bought this time or a little larger than the clown fish where the last fish where smaller so I’m looking for advice on when to release the clown fish back into the display tank?

btw the mocha clown is paired and is laying eggs.

what should I do?

Make sure that both of the clownfish are isolated together so that the male doesn't spontaneously sex change due to the missing female.

How big is your tank? What fish did you buy last time?

I have captured both the male and the female. They are both in a breeding box.

Any ideas... I am sensing I may have to replace these two with two new ones.
