Female clown white on face

Just looking over my tank this evening and noticed my female clown has white all over her face. No other fish look to have it. It seems to be located mostly around her mouth. Nothing has been added to tank recently…. Not sure what this would be? The tank has had ick previously, Ive noticed it’s been scratching her face on rock and glass.

Any breeding or courtship behavior seen?

Honestly that was my first thought…they have been paired and in the nem for 2 years. The nem is so big it’s hard to see/tell. I’ll take a look around but of course back wall behind everything. The male looks clean and normal. Would she be digging in the sand? Or rockwork?

I think you are on to something. In the anemone video, you can see they are hanging down on the lower left. Now that the lights are off. I see both nosing up to the rock in the same place. With blue light I see silver bubbles dancing in the current. I did see her nose into that rock a couple times when I had light on it. Side of rock next to nem, now I see both checking the spot, impossible to get video :/

If she is still feeding ok and not showing any other symptoms, I wouldn't treat for anything, just keep an eye on it.

Feed mysis and reef frenzy this am. She came out and ate. Then went back to that area and was nosing into rock work. Going to keep any eye on it, but now fairly confident she has laid eggs. Today see more silver bubbles waving off the rock

I can see the video now. Both clowns are a bit "plump". She has mucus on her face and just a hint of it on her pectoral fins. I don't think you need to treat just yet. I still wonder if this is from spawning/courtship/nesting behvior?
