Feminus Wrasse

They are often brought in with internal parasites, rarely adapt to captive life and as said above, rarely are available and when they are the price tag isn’t fun.
Other rare wrasse include:
- Gold Nugget Wrasse (Xenojulis margaritaceus)
- Jewelled Leopard Wrasse (Macropharyngodon/Halichoeres lapillus)
- Lennard’s Tamarin Wrasse (Anampses lennardi)
- Bells Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus bellae)
- Johnson’s Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus johnsoni)
- Hooded Flame Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus efatensis)
- Hooded Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus bathyphilus)
- Sanguin Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus sanguinensis)
- Rose Band Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus roseafascia)
- Kuiters Leopard Wrasse (Macropharyngodon kuiteri)
- Moyers Leopard Wrasse (Macropharyngodon moyeri)
- Choats Leopard Wrasse (Macropharyngodon choati)

These are just some of the rare wrasses over here in the UK.

thanks ill check them out see if i like any

I think if you can get one from a pre-QT place like ocean devotion or TSM they are not much more difficult than any other wrasse if at all. Those places keep the fish for a full QT regimen so you know it's eating and they treat for parasites. It at least shifts the risk and difficulty onto a pro with resources and access to wholesale instead of an individual like yourself.
