Hello everyone! I recently commented this on an old thread about fenbendazole. How frequently and how many ml per gallon do I dose in a 20g?

I have two tanks, a 6 month 20g and a new 75g. I’ve been waiting to transfer over all of my corals from the 20g because Ive been dealing with some hydroids. I wouldn’t call it an “infestation” just yet - but they have definitely managed to scatter themselves all over the tank. Mainly affecting my zoas..

I picked up some liquid Safe-guard dewormer and dosed .5ml for the whole tank, but I don’t know if that’s sufficient or not. Right now my LPS aren't opening up as much as they usually do, so maybe the dose was actually too high.. I moved all of my snails over to the new tank and my hermit crab prior to dosing as well!

This seems to b the recommended dosage for cloves as well as hydroids.

Have you replaced your snails back in your display tank yet? I treated my 50 gallon with fenbendazole some months ago. A week ago I acquired a couple snails to remove some algae from my rocks and they died within a few days. The water perimeters are fine but I’m thinking the fenbendazole leached into the rocks and is there to stay. I still have a pistol shrimp and a nassarius snail that have yet to die on me. If they do, I will update.
