Considering fenbendazole works better than GC-soaked food, would it be more appropriate to replace GC-soaked food completely with fenbendazole-soaked food instead? Or is it more recommended to try GC-soaked food first?

I’m pretty sure fendo won’t cure dinoflagellates, only worms, where as the metro and Prazi combo in GC works on both. If you wanted to use fendo then you may want to combine with metro in the food.

Is this correct @Humblefish ?

Fenbendazole works for Prazi resistant flukes and worms. You can use it mixed with food but as a starter I’d use GC personally

Take a look at Piperazine. These folks are very knowledgeable and have professionally treated tanks for a long time. Good people too. http://www.americanaquariumproducts.com/AquariumMedication3.html#piperazine

"* Superior in Safety to Fenbendazole & Levamisole. More effective than Praziquantel"
Can Piperazine be mixed with copper and antibiotics? Any species that are sensitive to it? I'm guessing it substitutes GC or Prazi entirely?

Has anyone tried Piperazine on prazi-resistant flukes?

I have the same question.. I have prazi resistant flukes and its driving me crazy

I have not used piperazine but I do use fenbendazole when I get flukes or internal parasites that do not respond to prazi/metro. Fenbendazole has not failed to clear the parasites for me.

I have always used prazi/ metro combination before using fenbendazole.

Those aren’t flukes, those are infections or even masses. I’m guessing it’s an injury or something that got infected. If it worsens or gets red, I’d treat with Nitrofuracin Green
