Ferrari vs. Lamborghini of LEDs

Ferrari vs. Lamborghini. (one can always dream, right?) Other than the obviously crazy prices, which one would you go with? Pac Sun takes the slight lead for me with the Android phone control:

Finally some life out there! I agree, the Genesis is WAY expensive...plus, with the add-ons like RGB, dimmable T5s, controller, etc. you're getting close to $4500. That's psycho! The Pac Sun looks ready to rock and roll out of the box, plus you get Android Phone / Tablet control and wouldn't need a separate controller. I would say that a price drop would be nice/expected down the line but, unlike state-side products, those high end Euro products don't seem to ever drop...lots of BIG BALLERS across the pond keep their prices high.

To clarify, I just posted this to drool and get some chat rollin. My lady would probably chop off my beanbag if I dropped coin for one of these. Always nice to dream...however, mid-life crisis items are not too far off at my age :wink:. Hell, some cats actually show up with a REAL Ferrari or Lambo in the driveway!

Dont buy any Sfiligoi they are flimsy and not worth the money. I got a used 12x54w T5 and wish I would of just waited to find a 10 bulb ATI. I know I am comparing T5 fixtures but the build quality isnt there with Sfiligoi and you realize this as soon as you pick the fixture up.

+1 my 8 bulb ATI is great...I diched my LED's for a T5/LED combo...but I only used my blue LED cause you just cant beat the POP it brings out, but I hated LED's by themselves!!!

My opinion is based on the 12x54w T5 Sfiligoi that is hanging over my tank. I have taken it completely apart to replace a ballast and the quality isnt there. I have replaced the fans and next I will be replacing all the end caps for the T5s so when I sell it every thing works for the next sucker. I helped my buddy put his ATI up on his tank and it a solid fixture and isnt flimsy like this one. Do I need to post a pic of the light so you believe me?

I dont know anything about the pac sun and I havent seen one in person. I will not buy anything high priced just because of the name or the bandwagoning poeple on forums do to justify the money they spent without seeing it first anymore.
