@Randy Holmes-Farley I was hoping you could advise on the correct dilution to use for ferrouse gluconate powder please. I couldn't find fergon tablets here in the UK put purchased some 'pure' ferrous gluconate powder online (pic attached). This might be a stupid question but would the same 27mg / 27ml mix apply as for the tablets?

thanks

Nick

The 27 mg is the iron content, not the ferrous gluconate.

Ferrous gluconate is 12.5% iron, so 215 mg ferrous gluconate contains 27 mg iron.
Hi Randy, I have the option to buy food grade ferrous gluconate but at a price of 500 grams for 31,- euro (35,- dollar). With the above information of it only being iron for 12.5% its seems like a very expensive option. As Fergon tablets are not available.

So is this stil viable and what is the correct receipe to use this powder directly?
