Fertilizing macro algae.

I do a lot of planted tanks(co2 injected).

I’m setting up a new 200g system. And I’d like to introduce clean macros, copepods and brittles.

My question is about growing strictly macro algae’s by themselves. Has anyone used co2 or freshwater fertilizers for macro algae’s?

ChaetoGro is a good fertilizer for macroalgae specifically and you can even dose ferrous iron (product called Ferrion) as well. I dose that plus Nitrates (NeoNitro) and Phosphates (NeoPhos) for my macroalgae tanks.
