Good Sunday Morning everyone,

I have a few questions as i am a 'newbie" around here, and I hope I am asking in the right place.

Is it beneficial to add amphipods or copepods to my tank when I am ready for fish/corals. My tank is 55 gal and just about finished the cycle process with LR/LS.

Also is it good to use feeder shrimp in the tank. I have seen mixed reviews about them.

Thanks!
Have a great day,
K

Beneficial certainly but might wait just a bit until cycling is complete, pods can be a little delicate. Most all fish will consume pods when present and its a huge advantage to acclimating picky fish including Anthias, Wrasses, Gobies and Dragonettes. They are also part of a good diverse CUC (Clean Up Crew)

Cheers, Todd

Here is my 2 cents. I would wait till my water was stable and remainder stable before putting copods in tank.

WE LOVE PIC'S!
