I like this little guy above the green one. The striping is sweet.

Peace, Jeff

Sick looking tank and the colors are popping!! Did i read that right...is that an office tank?? Do you mean at your house? Because i have been flirting with that idea but evaporation seems to be my biggest battle stopping me.

Thanks.. Yep you heard that right, Its at my office. I live about 5 min tops from it though so make 1 visit on the weekends to check it out and feed the fish. Its all automated with GHL profilux. I have auto top off, sensor to turn off skimmer if it goes crazy and skims to much while I am away so the ATO does not go crazy and dump a bunch of fresh water into the tank dropping the salinity. Its 68 total gallons with sump after displacement of sand and rock. I am re doing a 7 yr old 240 at home but it will be a few more months for that beast to be finished.

really nice setup.. does the copper band mess with any corals?

That is a great setup and only being 5 minutes away is a huge plus...my office at least 30 plus minutes away. What kind of lights you got on there?

Thanks.. He nipped on a few zoos from time to time and the lords. Still think he may nip at them some as they have not expanded like the used to since adding him a couple months back. I have since gotten black worms about 3 weeks ago and seems all the nipping has stopped during daylight hrs at least. He's actually fat and happy these days. I bought him for the sole purpose of eradicating aptasia and within a week he munched at least 200 of them down. I have not seen one for 5-6 weeks.

Thanks, I run 2 AI sol white units bought them over a yr ago and sol blue were not avail. I built a 26 led royal blue array and that's on it also.. Absolutely glows when I turn off all the whites and hit it with the blue and royal blues. Par is insane and actually smokes stuff unless I acclimate it to the lite. A great feature of the leds and GHL is its nothing to change the intensity for acclimation.

Holy cow gq, that's really cool to see a copper banded butterfly doing well. I hate to say it but it's a rare sight to see. I am also pleased to see a beautiful anemone not high fiving all the other corals, as happens to many of my reef friends who first try them out!

Funny my fish r shy.. I actually have 8 fish in the tank LOL.. Running the swc 160 with modded impeller it pulls like 34 scfh so it can handle a large load. I use prodiobio on the tank and and have a spot for cheato in the sump. Have never used it though "cheato" but plan to here soon to start increasing the pod population. I feed a ton of different foods like 4 times a day and no3 and po4 stay in check.

Thanks guys.... Ya I just looked wish I could get a belly shot of the copper banded. Thinking he actually needs a diet plan LOL..

I love the AI units...when i decide to upgrade one of those systems will definitely be in the running when i try to pick one. Good to hear the par is great!

Awsome tank! Jeff. I will go and see it in person someday.

thanks Frank.. Its jammed full. Need to get my 240 re done so I can cherry pick and make some room. See if I can bring it back to the good ole days.

Another I grabbed that I will try and fatten up. Has not been very puffed up and it was not when I picked it up either. Hopefully feeding it will get it going.
