Does anyone have any experience with these ?

Most of the YouTube videos I see are big fish freshwater guys. There's ONE video where a guy with a puffer comments that the clarity on the glass is terrible, but yet again all the big fish DIY guys don't usually talk about stuff like that...

Planning a farm for next year. I want a windows because I'm not interested in constantly turning off all pumps in order to check on things. This is gonna be a basement or garage setup. Not shooting for any beauty awards but if the glass quality is really that bad it like to know before I spend a few grand

those costs are not much better than a glass tank, whats the reason to go with something like this? I'm curious

It is a small price difference, but cheaper is cheaper. Call me crazy and I'm knocking the hell out of some wood, but I will enjoy never thinking about silicon seams again. (Outside of the easy to repair front panel on these things)

I bought a 300g one from AES in Florida last year. There is no issue with the glass. Tank works as it should. Given the glass panel is silicone in on the flat edge with lots of silicone rather than just a thin bead on a corner looks like it should resolve those restless nights of "Did I Hear a Splash?"

One of the possible issues with the glass is that it's not completely vertical, it tilts towards the back as it goes down. So you aren't really looking thru the glass straight on.

That's good information, and likely exactly what puffer guy was talking about. I'm a year out from building the system but I'm neck deep in the planning stage.
