fiddler crab?

I've kept them before but rarely saw them and were hard to feed but they were safe and cool tank mates

i would think probably a detritivore, not totally sure, since hes a burrower hell probably eat things he finds sifting through the sand in his burrow kind of like the pistol shrimp do

I have some sand dollars will they bother them or any of my other small shrimps (sexys, harlequin) or pom pom crab?

Your good man they just chill in their hole I fed my little pieces of silverside when I was feeding the rest of my tank

After keeping one, I would NOT recommend them only because they hide all day and night in their hole. Hardly worth adding when you never get to see them.

Cryptic creature are some of the most fun to keep though because when you do see them it's more exiting I have tons of cryptic creature such as bongo shrimps pom pom crabs bumble bee shrimps plus many more that I rarely ever see but when you do it like a long lost friend that you haven't seen in a while just coming as to say whats up! Lol

Nah man I wish I had started one from when I ripped down my tank 2 years ago and restarted with all new live stock just to busy all the time between work and tinkering on the tank, one trick to him is dig him out a hole under a Rock in the front of the tank only needs to be the size of a dime and about the depth of your second knuckle down on your pinky finger that way he'll take up residence in the front of the tank rather than in the back somewhere, where you'll never see him you can train them to come out for food just dangle some silverside in front of it's burrow and he'll come out and say thankyou eat and go back to bed lol
