Does anyone else have fish that fight over seaweed? My Yellow tang and female maroon clown fight over the seaweed all the time. The clowns had nothing to do with the seaweed for a month or so then they decided that junk is great. I feed LRS REEF frenzy twice a week, sustainable aquatics pellets daily and seaweed daily so I don't think it is an under feeding issue. They aren't aggressive to each other unless they are both going to the seaweed at the same time. Is this normal?

It has just have to get another clip. Good excuse to get the magnetic two little fishes one

What I do is shred our seaweed into small pieces and let it soak in the water I am thawing the LRS frozen food in. I then dump the whole mix into our 6 tanks so the fish eat the thawed frozen food and seafood flavored seaweed right out of the water column. I haven't touched an algae clip in years.
Hope this helps,
Larry

Everything else in my tank eats seaweed except my tang. My Yellow Bar Maroon also eats up the seaweed first before my Mono fish and Chromis. Eventually they all get a piece. I also feed LRS Reef Frenzy, my fish love it.
