So of course water changes are great for someone like me with brown algea that will NEVER go away. I discovered it is directly connected to how much I feed pellets in my tank. I generally get my clowns to consume about 5 pellets each and yesterday I decided to feed quick with no care in the world.... Came home to a tank with a brown sandbed.... So.... Yeah less pellets and a gravel vac! I also just seeded pods... Can a gravel vac remove them?
And pellet suggestions? I have omega one? Maybe some will be less detrimental to my tank

I use frozen food for my 2 clowns in a 20g. I only feed the fish every 4-5 days and i feed coral a mix of reef roids and reef chili about as often but not on the same day. I stopped pellets a long time ago because they are so nutrient dense. They pick at pods all day and are healthy. I feel like i skimp on the food but they have been fine and growing well so i feel like its good. Look into LRF or Rods frozen food. Most LFS carry them in a freezer.

I have been feeding once a day, I'm guessing I should go to every other, might be enough for my cuc to keep on top of everything, but I don't really have any pods
