So I got my first RBTA on friday and was really excited to get it in the tank and let my clowns start to hopefully get use to it. I have been watching and reading so much on nems and how they like to move around to find their spot. So I put it in near the bottom of the rock and now two days later it hasn't moved, it managed to find the deepest part of that rock and snuggle as far in as it could. Just my luck.

If you need to move it, just point a powerhead on it and scoop it up whenever it starts moving away...

Looks okay to me. I wouldn't try to move it. If it's happy there, then that's what you want. Better than having an anemone roaming all over the place.
I wasn't planning on moving it, just wished I had picked a little better of a drop off point for him haha

I think that's a fine spot. At least it's in the front where you can see it. A lot of people have anemones hide in the back, out of site. Plus, it will grow bigger and bigger.

Truth be told I hate BTA's, it takes me forever to get them to stay still. I can get a Mag and usually put it in within 2/3" where I want it and have it stay, BTA, nope.

Congrats you're past the hardest part IMO.

I'm not an expert with Anemone but I've learned a trick that keep it stay where I first put in my tank.
I just find a rock that has hole or crevices deep enough to hold/cover entire it foot/pedal, turn off all power heads (position your power head for a right water flow is trial and error before you get everything dialed in) and drop it right at the hole/crevices, if the BTA healthy it will soon drop it pedal into the hole/crevices, it will try to adjust itself for the comfy secured safe, then I just rotate the rock if needed for the best view of it, its worked perfect for me and they didn't move anywhere.
