Fiji ARF 20 1.5

@JDR0505 Hows that puppy holding up?
Got mine in, it has only rolled a few times, I literally have 0 junk in my tank lol
It's doing good as far as catching stuff however I roll mine manually. If I let it rolled on it's own it will roll with barely anything on it and waste my roll pretty fast on my opinion. Other then that it's ok. Also the small wheele that the roller rolls on the one attached to the motor is not very strong, mine is damaged from rolling the entire dirty roll. I think that rolling mechanism could be improved a lot. Other that it works just as designed. How big is your tack?

how do u have your float valve u can set it up higher, 2 position, also can go beyond that.
I just assembled it, and started running it. So ur saying they two positions? I have it just like fiji recommended on there instructions

yea you can flip the little arm, it will be either high or low. I tried it both ways and found the high position better for me.

I guess I have it, lower. I'll check on my next water change. Thanks

What reactor setup is that?

I posted in the last page what it is and why I went that route, I customized it to accommodate a pump i can put on a schedule.

more detailed pics in my thread.

If you want the complete list of what i purchased just post in my thread asking, it will probably help someone else.

Edit: your water level is too high to utilize the float valve properly. You have 2 options for fix, make sure your float valve arm is on the high side and lower water by 1”. Other option a custom 3d print sleeve to elevate the roller 1”

If the water is lower then my chaeto is exposed to direct heat from the lamp, the cheato would be out of the water I keep trimming it but it grow quick. Does fiji sales the 3d printed sleeve? And thanks for ur input I appreciate that very much

They don’t, I can measure one out and test it, and ship it out to you. It would have to be when I have some down time, i’m barely ever home now n days only weekends.

That would be awesome, whenever you have then and please keep me in mind. Again thank you so very much

Thanks, looks like I got a defective motor assembly on mine…
I got the Fiji cube roller mat because the dimensions fit the innovative marine sump.
Hey Nickng, I've got the rfs39 sump. Do you have pics of the install? I'm thinking about getting this for mine. Did you have to remove anything on the sump chamber? TIA Jerry

If your thinking about picking one up, im selling mine.

has bout 2 months use and only rolled around 10x.
I had to take it out because of tight quarters in my cabinet, if u take a look at my thread i filled up my cabinet pretty quickly. I wanted a UV and its freakin massive so the roller had to go.

I decided to go with just a fleece sheet since i can lay it flat, not only that my filtration for a 42 is insane.

Fleece sheet, skimmer, 15watt UV, chaeto refugium.

I also have 6 brand new rolls i purchased from fiji, ill ship out.
