amazing pictures it always makes me wonder when you see how brown they are in the wild and then how much they color up in our tanks were they really are happier.
 
Beautiful photos! There's certainly nothing like seeing them in nature. Was this area all patch reef or is there a barrier? I'm not all that familiar with the ecosystem there.
 
GREAT PICS Roy, thanks for sharing them with us all. My favorite is the large Porites balmy in post #2. I think it would be interesting to have a Blue Flash attachment to a underwater camera to see more closely what would see if they were in our own Reeftanks.

a little mix of both. Some was lagoon area with patch reefs others where barrier reef. A lot more acorpora growth on barrier reef. More softies and lps in lagoon patch reef areas
