No, but I think I may go with the Trigger Platinum Cube 20” and alleviate all of my problems. The HOB refugium will take up too much space behind my tank and I can’t run it with the skimmer. Are you running the sump conversion kit?
That's probably a better long-term solution, even if it ends up costing more initially. No, but I think I may go with the Trigger Platinum Cube 20” and alleviate all of my problems. The HOB refugium will take up too much space behind my tank and I can’t run it with the skimmer.
I am using the large Fijicube refugium on my 28g Nanocube. I absolutely love it, it has lowered my nitrates from the 40-50 range down to the 5-15 range (part of this is also likely due to starting to dose phosphates). I use the ACKE LED plant light and I harvest a half full grocery bag every 7-10 days. It’s positively swarming with pods, and overall has been an excellent addition to my tank, only wish I would have gotten it sooner.Has anyone used one the
Fiji Cube Advanced Hang On Back Refugium Box
on a Red Sea Max E 170? Trying to figure out a way to manage my nitrates.
I run a skimmer along with the Fijicube fuge, the Nanocube has 5 back chambers, rhe skimmer is in the middle chamber and the intake and return for the refugium are in the second and fourth chambers. Though, if I had to pick between the two, the refugium is far more productive in terms of lowering nutrients. No, but I think I may go with the Trigger Platinum Cube 20” and alleviate all of my problems.
