Any got one of the Fiji aio boxes? Looking at getting on (29g size) couple of questions tho, I’ve seen a couple of posts saying the don sit flat on the base of a tank? Any more details on that as it seems weird they are not made flat, also anyone know the dimensions of the 29g aio insert? The site lists the dimensions but doesn’t say which is the height etc?

I have one in my 10g aqueon i installed peninsula style due to the extremely small footprint of the tank.

The dont sit flat because the inside of aqueon tanks have a thick bead of silicone bridging the panels of glass together. It would be nice if fiji cube 45° cut the rear bottom of the insert just a smidge.

The 29g insert should sit just beneath the rim of a 29g Aqueon.

Im also not a big fan of the rear chamber design and the included useless filtersock. If i did it again, i would use a different insert (cant think of the other companys name) or buy a dedicated AIO like from innovative marine.

Thanks…are they only meant to fit into a Aqueon tank? as I was thinking on putting one in a different brand tank?

Funny you mentioned the IM as that is the reason I’m looking into the Fiji AIO as the IM tank I was waiting on stock for has apparently been discontinued, the IM 30L, I’ve only got a limited amount of space for the tank, bought the cabinet for the tank already, so I’m committed to the same dimensions as the 30l, shame as the new 40l would have been great.

As long as the dimensions are the same, it should be fine. Mine puts the water level right at the rim so you dont see the water line.

And dang..

That sucks!

I think the one i want is discontinued now too :loudly-crying-face:
