Fiji pink sand

SO about to 2 days ago i add fiji pink sand to mi 70g tank since i put the sand in and water the sand released some white powder on all the water and it colects on the glass,powerheads,and sump any ideas on this weird white powder?

Silicates. It goes away eventually.

2 20lb bag and it has 1 clownfish 1 rbta doing grate and shrimp goby pair

I got water out of the tank and add the sand without water

+1 on this being normal. This is the fines that were suspended in your water after you added it settling out.

Is this a new tank? Have your tank properly been cycled?
