That seems to be the going price. I have gotten them at LFS years ago when they were less common for about the same price.

Thanks for the tip, just ordered one from Liveaquaria. I had this a long time ago, I just forgot how I liked this coral so much, thanks for doing this thread, much appreciated.

I have some SPS in the DT, will the mucus from the yellow Fiji leather be ok, I have carbon in the sump most of the time.

I have seen large/huge systems sps dominate with large Toadstools without issue. Fact is though they do release toxins, terpenes, there for I do not mix Sacrophyton with sps. Terpenes have been reported to inhibit the growth of other corals.

As leathers become larger, they can have a inhibiting effect on not only sps, but lps too. I could never put an open brain anywhere near my large nepthea leather.

I've been looking for a Sarcophyton Elegans for a while, LA finally appeared to have them.. Ordered one and now I'm thinking it's a different coral.. Picture is terrible but as you can see the polys extension long. Color is very tan. I was suspicious from beginning, It's been with me for 2 months and fully recovered from transport.
