Have looked in the history and do not find reference to this - photo is near shutoff with yellow filter so sorry it is not more clear, but there is a complete ring of these actively waving filaments/flagellae radiating out from the base of this trochus - others in the tank are normal.
Tank had a piece of Keyes LR in it over a year back

Snail was interestingly at the highest point of the rock structure in the tank, and I know there are other fresh water or terrestrial parasites of snails that affect the behavior of snails to makes them come out of hiding in order to be consumed and carry out the parasite life cycle in a fish/bird.

Normal on a trochus. Snails climbing to high points are probably spawning. If you're lucky and depending on your filtration the babies might jut survive.
