File fish

Anyone have experience with file fish eating Majano Anemones? I also have aptasia so they will not starve. Was thinking of picking up the next pair posted on live aquaria

They a bit of hit and miss only a few eat aips.

I have one and he is a very nice fish but I have never seen him touch an aiptasia. I got nudibranchs and havent had any aiptasia in a long while so he must eat something else.

Mine ate everything but the aiptasia got a CBB as soon as he was acclimated he started eating them cleaned out my tank

I had an aiptasia outbreak in my frag tank. I put a file fish in and it didn't do anything for a month. I had a couple other small fish and a few bta so I was feeding. I read in an other post to try starving and it worked. I had a few aiptasia in my display tank and I moved the file fish there after the frag tank was clean. All visible aiptasia gone in 3 days. It's eating brine shrimp now.

Good deal thanks i have heard the nudibranches also wok good but i have a Golden Bannana Eel and afraid the nudibranches would be her snack
