Filefish ate torch

A couple nights ago I caught my filefish nipping on my newly added green torch. Today I noticed the skeleton--no slime or jelly. Any chance of recovery?
Attempting to catch and rehome filefish now--he will be going into my "misfit" tank that is full of aptasia.

Probably. And yes, they're known for going after corals when there's no aiptasia left...
